  • Google Pagerank

Having been a webmaster for a while now, I’ve started, been through and come out the other side of the proverbial Google Pagerank tunnel. Having been in this world, I now understand how little Google Page Rank (PR) matters. If PR does matter, then you will always be limited in what you can achieve. If you are selling links to gain PR, then Google will eventually catch up with you and kill the pagerank of your site. That means your source of income dies off with your site’s loss of green magic. Tutorial Chalkboard

Once you’ve built a new website and got it ready to receive visitors, you need to get visitors. There are many techniques for getting traffic to your site, but the best way is organically via the search engines. Something that helps gain good rankings in search engines are backlinks. An easy way to gain free backlinks is to submit your site details to a number of free web directories.

Web directories are essentially databases of links about websites. These directories are picked up by the search engines and the links to your site are noticed. Backlinks are one of many factors used by search engines that affect what position your site appears in the search results.

In this step-by-step tutorial I’ll show you how to submit your website details to completely free web directories. Usually the process of filling in your details on a web directory involves a lot of copy and paste work. A mini site is essentially a very small website featuring just a few pages about a specific subject, with affiliates and Google Adsense advertising on it. The whole point of a mini site is that you spend time creating it. A mini site does result in mini earnings (usually low $xx a month), but there’s little effort maintaining it. (more…)

Paid blogging is the process of deriving money from writing blog-based articles, stories and reviews. (more…)
