Google Reader - Tabs

If you’re like me, you have loads of RSS feeds in your RSS reader, but there never seems to be enough time to read it all. How many of those RSS feed stories do you actually read? 10%? 20%? Very few blogs have content that you want to read all the time, so here’s my little tip on skim-reading the feeds using Google Reader.

Dealing with RSI and daytime TV

As I posted last week I have been hit with very sore arms, which is very likely to be RSI related. There has been no specific trigger but my arms are very sore when driving and using the PC. As a result my specialist recommended that I refrain from driving and take two weeks off from my full-time job as a software engineer.

As a self-confessed geek, staying away from the PC is actually very difficult to do. I was in the middle of a couple of deals, which meant I had to check my e-mail at least a few times.

I’m still experiencing a lot of pain, but I am getting treatment and I have a load of physiotherapy exercises to that will help strengthen my wrists and arms. Having been off from work two weeks I have discovered a few things RSI and myself.

Unfortunately, I’ve been hit with a bad case of RSI for the last few weeks. I’ve managed to cope up until now, but my specialist has told me I need complete rest from the computer for 2 weeks to have any chance of recovery. I have no articles in reserve at the moment, so there’s going to be no articles for 2 weeks. Sorry about that!

In the meantime, do read some of my favourite blogs, namely Self Made Minds and Daily Blog Tips.

I was going to say that having good manners in business is common sense. However, these days common sense is very uncommon. So in this article I’m going to highlight the benefits of showing a little courtesy when conducting business online. Aside from being good business, being polite is just the right thing to do. Being friendly to someone can make their day, just as being nasty to someone can ruin their day.
