About me…

David Jones, Writer and Editor: Born and Bred in Warrington, England, I started my first web enterprise at 24 when I was broke after leaving University. I have a Mathematics degree from Nottingham but spent more time drinking beer than studying so I let myself down a bit. I am an avid supported of Liverpool Football Club and also have a keen interest in vegetable gardening.

So it all started for me selling bankrupt stock on eBay c. 2005 and taking a punt. That opened me up to selling condoms (yes - you really can buy anything on eBay), which was such a success, I formalised my ebay sales down this path and TheJohnnyShop was born. My website launched in mid 2007 and since then I have learnt a great deal about juggling a successful part-time business and a day job.

More recently I have launched iHouseShare.com, which is currently lying in the dreaded Google sandbox, and is the only 100% free dedicated houseshare site on the web, which also pays its users to advertise through Adsense revenue sharing.

I would like to thank Dan Harrison for all the work he had put into PowerDosh.com before selling the site to me. As part of purchasing PowerDosh.com off Dan, I also obtained DailyEcoTips.com. I will take both sites in the same direction, but am particularly looking to getting my thoughts down through PowerDosh.com

It is my ultimate aim to make a living 100% from the Internet, and I will use this site as a medium for telling the world about my good days and bad days on my journey to economic self-sufficiency and financial freedom.
