After a great deal of thinking, I’ve decided to have a big change in my portfolio. I’m selling off PowerDosh and DailyEcoTips (I’ve already made a deal). The reason is because my RSI is not getting any better, so I need to reduce my website commitments. The new owner will be continuing both websites in the same spirit in which I ran them. The new owner will introduce themselves soon!

Well, 2008 is nearly up, so it’s about time for a summary for the year. Despite my setbacks with RSI, I’ve achieved a lot this year. I had some very soft targets for this year, and I met all of them. However, my goals for 2009 will be more difficult to achieve. So here we go…

It was in profit, and made me about £40 in the end. I’ve also created 2 new sites, one that allows you to generate a gift certificate offering your time, and another that provides the latest news and information about indoor fireworks.

I’m working on my eco-portfolio of websites (see EnviroGadget), and hence my latest new project is Daily Eco Tips. As I posted last week I have been hit with very sore arms, which is very likely to be RSI related. There has been no specific trigger but my arms are very sore when driving and using the PC. As a result my specialist recommended that I refrain from driving and take two weeks off from my full-time job as a software engineer.
As a self-confessed geek, staying away from the PC is actually very difficult to do. I was in the middle of a couple of deals, which meant I had to check my e-mail at least a few times.
I’m still experiencing a lot of pain, but I am getting treatment and I have a load of physiotherapy exercises to that will help strengthen my wrists and arms. Having been off from work two weeks I have discovered a few things RSI and myself.
