Feedburner Unverified Email Subscriber Tool

If you have email subscribers with Feedburner, you might have users who have not completely finished the verification process to subscribe to your newsletter. I originally discovered this concept from Daniel Scocco at Daily Blog Tips. However, it was a hard process to manually copy and paste each unverified email address. Therefore I’ve written a tool that solves this issue!

Find me on Twitter

I’ve finally given in to trying out Twitter for a while, so please come and check my feed out. Let me hear your ideas on how to exploit it!

This week’s article is a collection of 5 tips that I use personally on my small portfolio of websites. I’ve got tips on adding a favicon to a theme, using transparent favicons, running php within a widget, adding tabs to an article, and how to fix the admin section if saving doesn’t work.

Sowing the Seeds

It’s clear that the current economic climate is stressful for many people. With the threat of redundancies, banks going bust, big companies going into administration, and poor pension performance, no wonder the global economic mood is a little pessimistic.

However, rather than wait to be made redundant (if you’re in full time employment) or wait for a job (if you’re looking for a job), I recommend investigating how you can work for yourself and earn an extra income. Article Directories

I’ve done some link building using article directories before, but I recently had a thought that they might be worthless these days. The search engines are always updating their algorithms (particularly Google) to present users with the most accurate results for their search terms. Since the search engines work so hard to drop link farms from their results, surely article directories now fall into that bracket?

2008 and 2009

Well, 2008 is nearly up, so it’s about time for a summary for the year. Despite my setbacks with RSI, I’ve achieved a lot this year. I had some very soft targets for this year, and I met all of them. However, my goals for 2009 will be more difficult to achieve. So here we go…

Link Exchange

So here I am again with one of my frustrations in the webmaster world - link exchangers.

Link exchanging, if done correctly, is a perfectly valid method of building backlinks. However, I receive a few link exchange requests per week, and they are worded so badly. So this article is about the don’ts of link exchanges from my own perspective, drizzled in dry wit and sarcasm.
