Since I added the DoFollow status to PowerDosh, I didn’t see much of a change. I think it was because I hadn’t advertised the fact that the blog was now DoFollow. Therefore in order to promote PowerDosh, I decided to get myself on to a range of DoFollow blog lists. Just from getting on to 2 lists, I’ve seen a number of decent comments appear on the site.
Here’s a list of DoFollow lists I’ve found so far. None of them require a backlink, but just appreciate one if you do want to give them one.
If you know of any non-reciprocal do-follow lists, please let me know in the comments, and I’ll update the list once I’ve submitted PowerDosh to be added to the list.

A new how-to article is released every Tuesday!

Thanks so very much for including us in your post today.
I think do-follow is going to be the norm soon because no matter if the link is anchored to something off topic or not, the person commenting is giving the blog new content.
And if some commenter is so kind as to keyword stuff their response (say with words like do-follow blog ), then it helps the blog owner all that much more. Keywords and content added and the google bot comes back.
I fail to see why so many bloggers don’t grasp that concept. Who really cares about losing a little bit of juice if the comments are helping you out overall???
Anyway I am glad to hear that PowerDosh is now do-follow. Good luck!
Rhonda
PS. My BU contest blog is “do-follow” so feel free to stop by and comment.
Hi Rhonda,
There are strong arguments for do or not-do follow links on any site. It certainly encourages spam, but then the search engines should be designed to counteract that, it shouldn’t lie wholly with the site owner.
That said, any obviously spamming comments should be deleted, which is what I’m doing now that I’m do-follow.
Thanks
Dan
Thanks for these links! My site comments are also set to dofollow and I’ve been looking for some lists to have my site added to. I think I need to come up with a comment policy, though, because I’m getting more comments from people who very obviously did not read the post and are using keyword names (i.e. “Car Insurance”)… but then there are the keyword names that leave valid comments and read the posts… but that’s not so common.
Once you get on to a few lists, other list users/makers will simple steal the lists anyway. So you get more exposure from that.
I’ve been getting a few “yeah, um, cool post” type comments which I am instantly deleting. I don’t mind if the anchor link contains keywords, but any more than 3 I will delete.
OK dan, I got 3 keywords.
I like nicursors list the best. Im getting a few dozen hits from him since I listed one of my blogs on his list. Too bad he doesn’t give a dofollow on his list though, thats sort of the point of making those lists, so dofollow blogs get credit from dofollow lists.
I’m not bothered about a do-follow from the list. My traffic has gone up as a result of the do-follow though

hi.. i am quite new to this term do follow, but i see post on popular forums everyday on this topic and i even got a list of do follow sites and started commenting on them but the thing is i don’t knw if they publish my comments or not..
can u tell me how to knw the status of my comments..
Yeah, checking the status of your comments is easy. Just keep visiting the site!
Thanks for the dofollow recommendation. I’ve decided to go the same way with my blog and will begin to promote the fact shortly.
Another addition to WordPress that I believe commentors benefit from is the CommentLuv plugin, which I have discussed on my latest blog post.
Keep up the great work,
Darren
Thanks for your comment Darren. I’m considering the CommentLuv plugin, but I have yet to have a compelling reason to install it. The Do-Follow plugin is doing its job for now.

I think we should make our blog as Do follow like your blog because that is the only way to appreciate their comments . However i just worry if the spammer taking that opportunity to spam all over the place.
I recommend adding do-follow. Just make sure you regularly moderate the comments. It only takes about 5 minutes every few days. Adding something like Akismet or similar will drastically reduce the amount you get.
I totally agree with Rhonda Holland with regards to the comments being good for the blog! even though i use the key words in my ‘Name’ I still read the posts on blogs and also comment appropriately (think I spelt that right lol) this site is good for listing your ‘do follow blog’ http://nicusor.com/do-follow-list/ if you want to promote it even more.
I agree with what you have to say. 2 of my blogs, which is all my blogs, have do-follow. My other sites don’t but if i could add them on those sites i would. Do-Follow is the way bloggers look after each other. Bloggers visit other blogs etc etc. Its professional just like this blog.

Is hard to maintain such a list. Are all full of fake DoFollow blogs. But this list are “GOLD” if you use an addon for FF to see who is follow and who’s not !
