Just a short post to show you some bits and pieces I’ve found recently that might interest you. A short discussion on trading hours for money, detecting hacks on your site and a wordpress plugin to help manage your banner advertising.
Using Google Alerts to detect if your site has been hacked or not exploits Google’s search term notification system to notify you if alien keywords appear on your website. By searching for strings such as “viagra” or “cialis” on your site’s domain, you get an early warning system for detecting exploited content mangement systems.
Sparkplug SEO recently had an article about trading hours for money being an issue when a recession seems to be likely in the US and UK. You can never earn a fortune if your income is directly proportional to the hours you work, as there is always a limit to the number of hours you can work.
Max Banner Ads has a wordpress plugin designed to help you manage banner ads on your site.
